Camtango lets you build a crowdsourced photo stream -- in real time! Camtango lets you easily, instantly collect and stream all photos taken during shared events.

The situation: You’re at a party, concert, or festival. Everyone’s taking photos, but they’re posting to their individual friend networks – which you may or may not be a part of. Wouldn’t it be fun to view and share all those event photos -- whether they are in the next room, across town, or on the other side of the world – all together, in real-time?

Now you can, with Camtango. Organized by event, Camtango brings a crowdsourced photo stream to everyone sharing an experience, as it happens. If you are the event organizer, you can project the stream, or even opt to share it on the web. If you are attending with your iPhone or iPad, you can view the instant stream on your device, and contribute your own photos on the spot.

What sets Camtango apart:

-Driven by event -- not by limited friend pools -- Camtango brings together all the participants, putting the shared experience at their fingertips.

-It’s all in one place! No hunting and pecking for hashtags to view event pictures one by one.

-Unlike a streaming video feed, Camtango shows different locations and perspectives, captured by event participants.

-Event organizers can opt to make an event public, or keep it private and share only with attendees or approved web viewers.

- Camtango geotracks photos for multi-venue happenings. From neighborhood-wide to worldwide, no event is too small or too large.
-Can’t be at the party? Feel left out? No problem – you can view the photo stream as it happens on the Camtango website.

Potential uses:

-Big parties and fundraising galas -- involve and engage your crowd, and have instant documentation for later use

-Multi-venue events such as music festivals or open studio tours

-Concerts and performances – instead of projecting a static video feed or photos of previous events, create your own crowdsourced Jumbotron

-Big family occasions like weddings, reunions, bar mitzvahs…

-Conferences -- check out what’s happening in other sessions

-A collection of celebrations surrounding a single event (Academy Award parties, anyone?)

-Be creative – build an event around Camtango!
